Tonka Truck
iphone4s <> 10-20-2013 <> Aperture post porcessing
When I saw this rusty old Tonka trunk I was taken back to the time when I was a kid and loved to play in the dirt. My cousins had a full set of these trucks. Dump trunk, grader, front end loader. We could spend many an afternoon and making roads. I remember being covered with dirt from head to toe. This also brings back memories of my recently passed aunt. The dirt was never a big deal, she would roll right along with it. Bring us into what we would now call a mud room. Utility type bathroom and with a big sink right off the garage before the kitchen and get us cleaned up. Make sure we had a great lunch and ship us back out to continue our Interstate Highway.. I know it sounds so cliche but how fast time flies. I have a child who is past the age of playing in the dirt with trucks... I only hope I can roll with the mud and dirt as well as my my aunt did.
