Love this place.  When we left Redlands it was raining like crazy.  We get down here and there was sunshine, couldn't believe it.  Must have rained earlier because the crowds were not crazy.

Girls boots...  The foot grows faster than the boots are worn out. Guess I have to be glad of that year over year.  But they are such cool boots.. Oh well photographed and uploaded to eBay.. Size 35 no more.

Last week we actually got rain in southern California.

Bear Mountain had just opened, rain was starting on Thursday, someone was convinced that Friday would be great day for skiing local.  Sounded good till the storm only produced rain in the local mountains.  No skiing on Friday but glad to have any precipitation we can in southern California.

Best Macchiato in town.

Best Macchiato in town, yes I do believe that statement.  I have had others and keep coming back.  My usual routine is drop Caroline off at school swing by Stell.  My regular is Macchiato, these guys know what they are doing.. You don't have to order espresso macchiato or even be as specific as double espresso shot with a little steamed half and half no foam..  There are some very commercial places that you have to be that specific to get what you want.   On days that Elizabeth is off work or post call we will go by and my order will be two Macchiatos to-go.   The go part gives us a great little paper cup of goodness.   To-go because we don't want to be part of the crowd today or we have the dog with us.  A few amazing sips wile sitting in the car in the parking lot and off we go.   Well this day for what ever reason we went in ordered pastries 2 x Macchs for here and found a table.

Wow what a great presentation and amazing coffee.

Crooked Trunk

This is such a huge tree, it towers up over the back of the property.  The trunk is also so crooked, even more that is pictured.  The roots dig into a slope and must go and go to be able to hang on like they do.  I often look closely to see if there is any dirt that has moved around the base.  No joke this tree could cause some damage if it came crashing down
